LUISA CAROLINA LUQUE VALBUENA , a promising young Classical Singing
This young artist, of Colombian nationality, was born in Bogota, on January 19, 1984.

From an early age, when he was three years initiation began his musical studies at the Academy of Art Frederic Chopin , which were later supplemented with private lessons taught by Luz Marina Mora, Maria Angelica Mallarino and Charito Acuña.

At the age of seven he entered the Conservatory of the Universidad Nacional de Colombia, where he advanced the Pre-Basic Course in Music Theory and Chorus, under the direction of Professor Svignik Sayac.

For four years he studied music and singing at the Universidad de los Andes under the guidance and mentoring of teachers Constanza Vargas and Jairo Serrano.

addition to his vocal studies, received private piano lessons with teachers Mauricio Villa Clara Correa Botero Luz Piedad Solodovnikov Roses and Svetlana.

past few years has been preparing in the Art of Singing in Italian Old School, under the direction of prominent Colombian tenor Manuel Contreras Bello, who has had the opportunity to prepare arias from the operas The Magic Flute, Lucia di Lammermoor, Rigoletto, La Traviata, Don Pasquale, L'Elisir D'Amore, La Sonnambula, I Puritani, The Barber of Seville, and Carmen Lucrecia Borgia.

Additionally, since 2000, received lessons and Interpreting Lyric Repertory with Cuban pianist and repertorist Edelsa Santana.

In June of 2002 participated in the Concert "Selections from The Magic Flute and the Best of World Opera" held in the Auditorium Antonio Nariño of Cundinamarca, playing the characters Queen of the Night (The Magic Flute), Gilda (Rigoletto), Violetta (La Traviata) and Norina (Don Pasquale), alternating with the tenor Manuel Contreras, Sergio Hernandez and Baritone Soprano Diana Cubides, with accompanying of Edelsa Santana.

In September of that year, participated in the "Voices Colombian Lyric Concert" , held at the Teatro Patria of this city, together with the tenor Manuel Contreras Bello and Andres Roldan, baritone and soprano Jaime Mariño Diana Cubides, to the accompaniment of the Russian pianist Svetlana Solodovnikov.

In March 2005, acted as a lyrical soloist in the concert held in the Auditorium Theatre Leonardus of the city of Bogotá, with the accompaniment of Russian Irina repertorist Viritch.
